A Demo room will be available from July 2 to July 10. The characteristics
of the machines will be provided as soon as possible. On June 30 and July 1, five
machines for internet connection will be available in the ITC building (see room 1-ITC in
the map for location).
From May 24 till the end of FLOC a machine will be available for installing and testing
systems. The machine should be used only for testing (and not for performance evaluation).
The machine provided is a SparcStation 10, Solaris 2.7, 32 Mbyte Ram, about 200 Mbytes
of disk free, gcc compiler 2.8.1. It is reachable via telnet or ftp at: herbrand.itc.it.

The demo

An Internet room will be available from July 2 to July 10, 1999.
The
Internet room will be located in the foyer at Centro
Servizi Culturali Santa Chiara, near the demo room. 30 machines will be available for
internet connection.
A technician will be available for general purpose support (in both the demo and
internet rooms) from 9am to 6pm. Systemistic support in the demo room will be provided
during all days of FLOC from 8am to 10am, all day July 8, and, when otherwise needed,
after explicit request to the FLOC secretariat. |
